  • After training and successfully completing model days, you will receive a certification from Sydney stating that you have completed proper training for PMU brows + proper hygienic practices.

During training, Sydney will review the ADPH regulations in the state of Alabama. This includes the following:

    • How to apply for your license(s)

    • How to set up your studio space for inspection

    • Building + Studio Regulations

It is your responsibility to apply for your license. You will be able to contact Sydney with any questions you have during this process.

  • In order to perform a service on a model DURING training, you must complete the following:

    • Complete Blood Borne Pathogens for the state where the course is held.

In order to perform services on a model & clients AFTER training, you must complete the following:

    • Complete Blood Borne Pathogens for the state of the workplace after training.

    • Complete the application and obtain a Body Art Operator Permit for the state you will work in after training.

    • Work in a permitted tattoo facility only OR obtain a Body Art Facility License for your facility.

    • Obtain insurance and a license necessary for your business.

  • This training was created to teach you all the fundamentals of becoming a PMU artist. You must be patient + consistent. In person training is meant to build your foundational skills. Consistent practice after training will build your mastery.  I recommend this skill for those who can commit at least 1 hour a day to practice. You cannot rush the process, good things take time.

Continued education is always recommended as you can always learn and improve. I have taken 2 trainings per year since I started my Permanent Makeup journey!

State regulations vary in every state, be sure to submit all applications and licensing accordingly to your state/city/country.

I don't even know where to start when it comes to leaving my review for PMU training with Sydney. As someone that has taken two other trainings prior I can honestly say Sydney goes out of her way to make sure you are confident at your craft. She is with you every step of the way, she challenges you, and stays by your side every step of the way. Even after training was over she was so happy to answer questions and review practice. She was patient, kind, and thorough. I never once questioned if I had taken the right training or not. I got SO MUCH EDUCATION. If anyone is serious about learning the correct way to do PMU then look no further and train with the best. I'm so fortunate she is local and that I found her. She is the real deal. I couldn't be any happier. Thank you, Sydney!

I have been so privileged to train under @sydneyleart Her patience, kind heart, and encouragement make her an inspirational trainer. I wouldn't have known where to begin getting into this industry without her help. I will be forever grateful for having the opportunity to train under her! Her training course covers every aspect of the permanent makeup industry; from skin theory, brow shaping, hygiene, color theory, consultation, video editing, and how to start your own business. Thank you for your motivation, advice, and encouragement, you are a fabulous mentor!

  • @purebeautybykc

The training was everything I expected and more. I felt comfortable the entire training period. I was able to successfully complete three models with assistance during my training. I left on my last training day feeling confident in my work and not scared to begin work on my own. Sydney not only taught me the fundamentals of microblading and microshading but she also gave me multiple techniques with each. I was also taught more advance services that I could one day offer when I have more experience. I will forever be grateful for my training days with Sydney, the things I learned will be with me forever!

  • @oneyoustudio

I had the pleasure of taking the permanent makeup training from Sydney and she has been there every step of the way during my journey. The kit she provides is absolutely amazing and includes your machine and high quality pigments. I am someone who has a short attention span and also short patience. During the training, even when I was frustrated with myself, Sydney encouraged me to try again and reviewed whatever I didn’t understand as many times as I needed.

  • @oneyoustudio

The training goes over practicing on latex, skin, and proper technique. Not only does she review the actual skill with you (of course), but she goes over the back end information of what you will need to do to be in good standing with the health board as well as financial break downs. There hasn’t been a time that I wasn’t able to reach out and ask Sydney for help with my business or any practice I was doing. She gives 110% to her students and then some. If you’re thinking about doing this training, it will be so worth it and could change your life. Don’t wait any longer.

  • @ps.cosmeticink

Sydney has not only helped me develop my skills as an artist, but has also been a source of inspiration, and motivation throughout my training. Her training has been thorough and comprehensive covering every aspect. She has an entire manual that she wrote that literally includes everything from shaping, color, theory, needle theory, and sanitation. As well as what you should include in consultations, skin types, how to build your business, literally everything. She really takes time to explain each and every step of the process in addition to her technical expertise.

  • @ps.cosmeticink

What sets this educator apart is her ability to encourage and uplift, her positive energy and passion for the craft is contagious. I really admire that dedication and her commitment to helping me. She truly cares about my success and goes above and beyond to ensure that I have all the knowledge and skills to succeed in a competitive industry whether it’s providing feedback on my work, helping me with business strategies, or simply offering a word of encouragement.

  • @ps.cosmeticink

Sydney has been there with me every step of the way. It is also really rare to find educators that do more than a three day at most training. There were so many times I wanted to get into this field, but I was so intimidated by the fact that I would just do a three day class and I felt I would not be confident enough to get into this. If you ever thought about getting into this industry and you don’t know where to start, I highly recommend you to go to Sydney. She is an incredible person and incredible artist. An incredible educator I will forever be grateful for the impact she’s had on my life in my career. She’s just the best.
