Do NOT wear any makeup around your brow area to your appointment

Do NOT apply any moisturizers or creams to the area you are planning to get waxed.

AFTER APPOINTMENT

  • Please make sure to follow proper aftercare to preserve the quality of your tattoo and reduce any risk of infections. Make sure to stay hydrated and eat well! Proper nutrition + hydration will help your body heal more effectively.

Second skin bandages will be applied onto your fresh tattoo. Keep this on for 2-5 days. This bandage is breathable, waterproof, and accelerates healing. You can shower with the second skin bandage on. It is normal for ink and plasma to collect onto the adhesive of the bandage, making it look dark or blurry. When removing the bandage, make sure to take it off under running water. Pull it off in the direction of hair growth to minimize discomfort.

    Remove the bandage early if:

    • Skin irritation develops

    • The edges roll up over the tattoo

    • If an excessive amount of liquid is in the bandaid

Things to keep in mind for a few weeks (Up to 4 weeks)

    • Avoid picking or scratching: It is essential to resist the urge to pick at scabs or scratch your healing tattoo. This can damage the tattoo and prolong the healing process.

    • Avoid direct sunlight: Protect your healing tattoo from direct sunlight, as UV rays can fade the ink and increase the risk of infection. If your tattoo is in an area exposed to the sun, apply sunscreen with high SPF or cover it with clothing.

    • Avoid soaking your tattoo: For the first few weeks, avoid submerging your tattoo in pools, hot tubs, or baths, as excessive moisture can affect the healing process. Hot showers are generally NOT recommended.

    • Avoid tight clothing: Wear loose, breathable clothing over your tattoo to prevent irritation.

If you notice any signs of infection, excessive redness, swelling, or unusual discharge from your tattoo, contact your tattoo artist or a medical professional immediately. Proper aftercare is crucial for the healing process, everyone's skin heals differently, so it's always a good idea to contact your tattoo artist for any personalized advice.

    RECOVERY TIME

1-2 weeks. However, complete healing takes 6 weeks for the pigment to fade and resurface.

    DURING HEALING

Do NOT pick, scratch, or bite off the scabs. Let the scabs fall off naturally. Picking can cause scarring, loss of pigment, or an infection. Make sure to thoroughly wash your hands before applying ointment.

EVERY HOUR AFTER SESSION | DAY 1

Fluids will leak from the tattoo to form scabs. You do not want these fluids to sit on your tattoo and form these scabs.

You will want to wipe your tattoo every hour with a wet cotton round and pat the area dry to ensure no fluids sit and form scabs.

After each hour you wipe, reapply the ointment given. When you wipe, you will see the color coming off onto the cotton round, this is normal).

The area will feel a bit sore and will look quite intense. There may be some swelling and minor bruising that only lasts for 1-2 days.

Applying ice can reduce bruising and swelling. Wrap an ice pack or a ziplock of ice in a napkin and place it on the area for as long as desired. After each hour you wipe, reapply the ointment given.

    FIRST WEEK | DAY 2-5

Moisturize as often as possible with the provided ointment. Minimum: apply given ointment 3x a day (Morning + Afternoon + Night).

Do NOT touch your tattoo with dirty fingers, remember it is an opened and healing wound. An infection could possibly ruin the tattoo.

Do NOT get your tattoo too wet for too long. It will make the scabs soggy and easier to fall off prematurely. Remember, you want to keep the scabs on for as long as you can, let them fall off naturally..

Do NOT sleep on your face to avoid lifting your scabs prematurely and make sure you’re sleeping on a clean pillowcase to avoid infection.

Do NOT sweat on the tattoo until all the scabs have come off naturally. Sweat will take the pigment from your tattoo. If you sweat on them, dab it off immediately.

Do NOT eat anything too spicy or with too much citrus. Be careful when eating not to rub any scabs off and try to drink through a straw.

AVOID | harsh cleansers, creams, makeup, or any other products on the treated area until all the scabs have naturally fallen off. These things can jeopardize the healing of the tattoo.

AVOID | sun exposure, makeup on lips, exfoliation, steaming, swimming (chlorine + saltwater), saunas, tanning, botox and excessive facial treatments.

    4 WEEKS

Do NOT get any facials, Botox, chemical treatments, and microdermabrasion.

Do NOT expose your tattoo to UV rays or tanning beds for 4 weeks after the procedure. These things can alter the appearance of your tattoo dramatically.

    AFTER SCABBING

Once the scabs have completely fallen off, you may apply makeup over the area and return back to your normal routine.

Note: After the scabs come off your tattoo may have a milky/grey hue to it. This just means that the surface skin is healed but the underneath layers still need time to heal.

The complete healing process takes 6 weeks. In 6 weeks, the true and final color of the tattoo will show. It is only after 6 weeks that a touchup to the tattoo can be done.

Please note that your tattoo will be softer and not as crisp when healed.

Results will vary with each individual and are extremely dependent on your skin and how you care for it during healing. It may take more than one session to achieve your desired result.

ONCED FULLY HEALED (AFTER 6 WEEKS)

It is strongly recommended that you do NOT use any of the following on your tattoo:

    Benzoyl Peroxide

    Hydrogen Peroxide

    Glycolic acid

    Apple cider vinegar

    Vitamin E and C

    Retinol.

These products can lighten or fade your tattoo faster.

SPF is recommended due to UV rays which will deteriorate the pigment and lighten or fade the tattoo faster as well.

Saltwater and chlorine can also deteriorate the pigment faster as well. Rinse with water after contact.

If you are having any laser or facial beauty treatments please inform your technician before procedures that you have a permanent makeup tattoo.

This treatment does fade after 1-3 years depending on your skin and lifestyle. Touch-ups are necessary to maintain the longevity and overall beauty of your tattoo. If you have oily skin, an iron deficiency, or a very strong immune system, your pigment will not last as long and will not heal as crisp as others.

  • DO book regular 2-3 week fills to maintain your lash extensions. You naturally shed 2-5 lashes per day, therefore within 2-3 weeks, a fill is recommended to maintain a full look. Please do NOT book a fill if you have less than 50% of your lashes remaining- it will be considered a full set.

DO cleanse lashes & brush lashes daily. Clean lashes result in longer retention.

Do NOT touch, rub or pick your extensions- this may transfer natural oils to your lashes.

Do NOT sleep directly on your face (lashes) this will cause your lashes to fall out prematurely.

Do NOT steam - this may loosen up the adhesive that bonds the extension to your natural lashes.

Do NOT apply any oils near your extensions - this may also loosen up the adhesive bond.

Do NOT wear mascara on you extensions- this will cause them to clump up together and will be difficult to remove.

  • Do NOT touch freshly waxed area to avoid bacteria spread and infection.

DO keep up with your waxing appointments. The more often you remove hair from the root, the more likely the hair follicle becomes damaged. This causes the hair to thin; the thinner the hair, the less uncomfortable the wax come future. With routine waxing, you may notice your skin staying hair-free for longer periods of time. The hair may stop growing altogether. Results and hair growth will vary depending on your hormones, age, genetics, and ethnicity.

Do NOT wear tight clothing on waxed area- let your skin breathe.
